On Saturday 10th October the cavernous London club, Fire, opened its doors to Bugged Out!’s 15th Birthday, a stellar cast of world class DJs and 1500+ revellers, to celebrate the 15th birthday of this behemoth club night. And in Erol Alken, Feadz, Justin Robertson and Brodinski, they were armed to the teeth with some of the most fearsome exponents of the clubbing zeitgeist.
Underworld - Pretty spry for old men!

Visited Portugal a couple of weeks ago and decided to drop by Creamfields 2009 (Algarve Edition). This is not the 3 days extravaganza we’re treated to in England, rather a one night event. This featured Underworld as headliners on the main stage as well as the excellent Junior Boys, and Turbo Records ran a massive tent featuring luminaries such as Proxy, Tiga, Riton and Zombie Nation. I managed to get a pretty sweet recording of ‘Born Slippy’, which you can see below, and let me tell you - you ain’t experienced Riton until you’ve experienced him surrounded by a bunch of sweaty Portuguese guys. Club review: Hidden Pleasures: Crisis @ Cargo

Given the clandestine tone of this gig, I did feel like I was participating in a spoiling night of surreptitious gluttony, lapping up Britain’s hottest dance and D n B acts of which I, and the 100-strong crowd, left Cargo coyly licking our bass-smattered chops.
What’s more, given the sparse number of spectators and the whole of Cargo to romp around in, the acts also felt free to chill and mix with us particularly fortunate punters, of which I have to admit that the MC from Chase + Status is exceptionally charming.

A bevy of Sun Page 3 girls are set to launch their DJ outfit ‘Headphones & Heels’ at a new Ministry of Sound night, Glam Roc. Unsurprisingly the night promises us the unholy triumvirate of House, R&B and UK Funky. So while this night can’t promise us a point of difference musically, there is still something about it that is mysteriously grabbing my attention? What could it be?
